Butterscotch Brownies


Well Helloo, it has been like 2 weeks that I disappeared and for good reason, I need to rejuvenate and take a break from it all and just get away and that’s exactly what me and my baby did. My Baby and I took a 4 day~3 Night~Vacation to Las Vegas and it was fun and awesome~ I love Vegas and all the glitz and the lights and the shows, its fantastic to go for a few  days and just sight see and go hotel hoping to all the nice extravagant hotels. I probably gain a few pounds  because of all their good buffets lol~ughh the food in Vegas is soo delicious its heaven. My Baby and I stayed at Treasure Island and it is one of the nicest and most friendliest hotels to stay at~I am not advertising but everyone was nice there but the one thing  I can say about Vegas is that it is not good for your skin~its very hot and dry and well drink alot of water LOL.

My first recipe back is these delicious and mouth watering Butterscotch brownies, they look more like Blondies but I am calling them brownies hehe~they are full of butterscotch chips and they are very very good, I made this especially for my baby because he loves butterscotch and I love to bake so its a match made in heaven hahaha~you see honestly I don’t bake for myself~I like to bake for others so most of my recipes are for others to enjoy and off course for my self as well but its more for the people in my life.  My Butterscotch Brownies are good with a tall glass of milk~YUM~YUM~SUPER~DUPER~YUMMO~LOL.

Butterscotch Brownies

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes

Yield: 12 Bars


  • 1 1/3 heaping Cups All purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 Cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon of good vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup Butterscotch or more if desired


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, butter a 9 inch square baking pan and line with parchment paper for easy lift and butter parchment paper, in a large bowl sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In another bowl combine melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract beat till combine, add the flour mixture gradually then stir in the butterscotch chips. Spread evenly on the prepared baking dish with flour hands and bake for 25-30 Minutes or until the surface springs back. Let it cook on the pan for 15 minutes then lift the bars out and let it cool on a cooking rack completely, cut into bars and enjoy with a cup of milk.
