Persian Grilled Chicken

Wow I woke up this morning and its around the mid 70’s outside today~and well~that come the record heat~watching the news news today with my hubby while having our bowl of Cereal in the morning~ughh~Summer Summer Summer~Well at least I still have new grilling recipes to share and this one is a good one~well grilling BB-Q weather its pork, chicken or beef can get monotonous~yes it sweet~yes it is spicy~and well you will need alot of napkins but grilling something exotic does not require a lot of napkins and well breaks up the grilling routine away from the BB-Q. This Persian Inspired Grilled Chicken breast is full of flavor~Lemon juice~sweet paprika and Onions~yes Pureed onions~Now I love Onions while I was prepping the marinade I had a few helpings of yellow onions~now I know most of you will find that odd but I always been like that~I like to eat raw onions~no matter what color they are~the one bad thing is onion breath lol which my baby does not love.This Marinade makes alot so its perfect for 4-6 people~and its a 2fer to as well~if you want to stay healthy use the marinade to baste grilled vegetables

Like I did with Broccoli and boy was it good~Healthy and a bit exotic~see you can go Mediterranean in the back yard without breaking bank~Simple~healthy and Super Uber delicious~

Persian Grilled Chicken Breast With Grilled Broccoli

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Yield: 4-6

Ingredients

  • Marinade
  • 1 Large onion chopped
  • 1/2 Cup lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoon dried Oregano
  • 2 Teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 2 Teaspoon of mince garlic
  • 1 Cup of good olive oil
  • Chicken Breast

Instructions

  1. Marinade: Coarsely Chop the onion and garlic and add to the food processor, add the remaining ingredients and pulse. Save some for basting grilled vegetables. Marinade the Chicken breast at room temperature for 30 minutes. Grill and Enjoy.
