Peanut Butter Bars


Hmmm……. Just imagine coming home and seeing this when you get to the kitchen and instantly your mouth waters right~well off course it will~LOOK AT IT~it’s is for the peanut butter lovers out there~Like My Hubster off course~his favorite kind of cookie is a peanut butter cookie. I remember when I started getting in to baking more~I tried to make a peanut butter cookie~but just like those who are just beginning to get into baking you will get a lot of set backs and a lot of bad batches~and well~my first try at making peanut butter cookies~they came out and tasted like gravel~crumbly and hard~like concrete~EEEEEEKKKKK!!!! I know right~so was traumatize~like really I was I didn’t touch peanut butter cookies for like years until yesterday~I decide to try again and I was able to whip up not 1 Peanut butter dessert but two kinds~My Bittersweet Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Skillet Cookies ( I will post my skillet cookie sometime soon)Peanut butter bars. My peanut butter bars are delicious and are for the true Peanut butter fans~Thick~THICK~thick peanut butter & Graham crackers~with a nice thick~Chocolate peanut butter top~it is truly a candy that is worth drooling over and enjoyed with a glass of milk~and guess what~its not baked~HAHAHA~nope~no preheating oven here~Stove top yes to cook on a small-medeum sauce pan~hehehe~try it~so worth it~if you are a peanut butter lover you will love this~it is better than store bought Peanut butter cups~WAY WAY WAY BETTER~Homemade is always better.


Peanut Butter Bars

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: 6-8


  • 2 Cups ground graham crackers
  • 1 Cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 Cup unsalted butter melted more butter for pan
  • 2 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2-2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • Peanut Butter Chocolate top
  • 1 1/4 Cup Semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/4 Cup creamy peanut butter


  1. In a medium Sauce pan melt butter on low-medium heat, add peanut butter till smooth, add vanilla extract, graham crackers & powdered sugar,mix and combine. Butter a 9x9 in pan and line with parchment papper. spread peanut butter mixture evenly in the pan. Using a double broiler, melt semi-sweet chocolate and 1/4 cup of peanut butter till smooth, spread evenly on top of the peanut butter mixture. Tap pan to rid of bubbles. Refrigerate for 20 minutes-to an hour or untill chocolate is hard and set. cut in to desired bars. Enjoy.


No cooking, refrigerate for 20 minutes.
