Pumpkin Blondies

I am not feeling very well~I have to be honest with you because I know that someone is reading this but today and yesterday~well it started yesterday that I had an allergic reaction to something I ate, well my be I still cant pin-point on what it is because it happens so rare for me and its a bit frustrating because I feel itchy but I can’t itch my body or face because red marks will appear grrrrrrr~ that is all I have to say about it is grrrrr~but like my algebra teacher said just “grin and bear it” and that’s what I am doing. This weeks Dessert of the week is more pumpkin because honestly I felt cheated that I didn’t get to post more of my pumpkin recipes on October so I am making up for lost time. This Delicious~subtle buttery~pumpkin blondies is chewy and pumpkin-y~with some white chocolate and cinnamon chips it truly a wonderful snack time dessert to have~off course its not overly sweet~full of spices that I love that recalls warmth and coziness~its like an orange blanket when you take a bite~it wraps and drapes all over you~HMMMMM PUMPKIN BLONDIES~I wonder if Homer from the Simpson will like this?

Yummy Yummy~mouth my waters and since My Husband is not home maybe~just maybe I will have a slice of pumpkin blondies~or two~or~Three~Better Yet I might  just devour all and not share~what he doesn’t know wont kill him right lol~ Don’t worry about it~I wont tell if you do the same after you make and bake this and had slice~it will be our little secret~


Pumpkin Blondies

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes

Yield: 4-6


  • 2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Cup melted and cooled unsalted butter
  • 2 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 Cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/3 Cup cinnamon chip
  • 1/3 Cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 Heaping teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 Teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 Teaspoon allspice


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Butter a 9x9 inch baking pan and line and butter parchment paper over lapping at the side for easy lift. In a bowl whisk together the spices, baking powder and baking soda cinnamon chips and white chocolate chips. Set aside. Melt Butter in a pan or microwave. Let it cool slightly. Set aside. In another bowl mix together pumpkin puree, vanilla extract and sugars, add the butter and mix together till well blended, add the dry ingredients and mix together till combined. Spread evenly on the pan( tap the pan on the table if you must) bake for 25-30 minutes or till the blondies are set and inserted a toothpick in the middle and comes out almost clean with a few crumbs. Place on a wire rack and let it cool for 10 minutes, remove blondies from pan and let it cool completely on wire rack.
