The Fall/Winter Seasons are an absolute dream for me, The Sky is grey, The mornings are cool and crisp, the nights are cold and snugly and the best part of all, its the Holiday Season. You know I was in a Thanksgiving Coma the past week and now I’m trying to get clean out of it lol, and now I am readying my self for all the holiday baking I am making and giving our to people that I love and care for hahaha~that means spending alot of time in the kitchen, and you know what~its going to be my 1 year anniversary as a food blogger on January~I am also looking forward to celebrating my Blog~it really warms my heart that I get to share with you the food that I cook and I hope that you all ( my readers) enjoy them with the people you love.

Gingerbread Blondies

This weeks Dessert is full of spice and everything nice, you know me with spices right? Off Course you do, My Gingerbread blondies is a good way to start of your Holiday baking extravaganza in the kitchen, its super chewy chock full of Spices~mostly Ginger but with an added touch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice and a secret ingredient~freshly cracked black pepper~YES!! YES!! YES!! black pepper is a spice so I added a crack of black pepper, its super delicious and the flavors just recall Christmas you know~it should be the first thing to eat on Christmas all month long~whether its cookies or bars like mine~gingerbread is the star of the Christmas/Holiday month and that’s how I’m Starting mine, also it has bits and pieces of Butterscotch and White Chocolate  Chips~you can go wrong for having this for dessert and if it is wrong then I don’t wanna be right hahahaha~Make my Gingerbread blondies in your kitchen~N-O-W!! Gingerbread Blondies

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 35 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Yield: 4-8


  • 2 Cups flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 Teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 Teaspoon ground allspice
  • crack of fresh black pepper
  • 1 1/2 Stick unsalted butter (12 tablespoon)
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsulphured full body molasses
  • 2 Eggs lightly beaten
  • 3 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon of grated ginger root
  • 1/4-1/3 Cup of butterscotch
  • 1/4-1/3 Cup of white chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees (for glass baking pan, for metal baking pan 350 degrees) butter and line 9x9 pans with parchment paper for easy lift. in a bowl whisk together the spices, baking powder and soda butterscotch and white chocolate chips. Set aside. Melt butter in a sauce pan, once melted add brown sugar and molasses and mix till sugar has dissolve, add vanilla and eggs, fold the wed ingredient to the dry ingredients till its incorporated do not over mix, spread evenly in pan and bake in the middle for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Transfer to a cooling rack, cool completely.
