Mustard-Herb Marinated Grilled Chicken Breast

I am just gonna say this out there~but this might have been done already but~hey~why not turn your favorite salad dressing into a marinade~if they can flavor up those greens~they can sure as hell flavor up your meats~My Mustard-Herb Dressing/marinade is a 2fer~hehe as in you get to recipes for the price of one dressing~I mean that is pretty awesome right~I am a genius~and I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW~I Probably did not created this concept~its been done probably by thousands of food bloggers/cooks~out there but~you read it here so it means that I created it first LOL~So~Take my word for it~this is a delicious simple mustard-herb dressing~use any herbs you like~I use 1-2 Tablespoon of Italian parsley, chopped chives and mince garlic~it packs alot of flavor when you marinate a chicken or pork for a couple of hours and with its added creaminess from the hard boil egg yolk~YUMMY~ its good as a salad dressing or a marinade~all I have to say is YUM to this. YUM.


Mustard-Herb Dressing/Marinade

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes


  • 1 Large hard boiled egg yolk
  • 3 Tablespoons of white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon mince garlic
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of water
  • 1 Tablespoon of grainy mustard
  • 5 Tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of chopped herbs such as thyme, rosemary, tarragon, parsley, chives


  1. In a blender puree egg yolk, vinegar, water, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper, till combined, slowly stream in the olive oil till combined and creamy~transfer to a bowl and add in the herbs, whisk to combined~use for salad dressing or marinade.
